Manchester United loanee Facundo Pellistri scored his first goal for Granada against Barcelona on Sunday night.
The Uruguay international made his loan move from United to Granada on the January transfer deadline day after lots of speculation. It was clear that he wasn’t going to get the opportunities he needs at United this season and it made sense for all parties to organise a temporary deal.
Pellistri, 22, had a night to remember against Barcelona. He provided an assist for Ricard Sanchez to make it 1-1 before scoring Granada’s second by putting the ball into Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s net.

This means Pellistri has become the youngest player (22 years and 53 days old) to score and assist in a La Liga game against Barcelona since Samuel Eto’o did so in 2000, as per OptaJose.
Granada take on Almeria next Sunday.
