Erik ten Hag has provided a team news update for Manchester United’s trip to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Thursday evening.
It’s a return to Premier League action after over two weeks for the Reds, with their last outing being a 2-2 draw to Tottenham Hotspur on home turf.
They sit ninth-placed in the table heading into the clash and just three points ahead of 11th-placed Wolves after 21 matches played. After last night’s affairs in the top division, United have now scored the lowest amount of goals (24) of any team above the relegation zone, and have only outscored Burnley (21) and Sheffield United (19).
Ten Hag’s options for West Midlands trip
Alas, the manager will be demanding a dominant showing at the Molineux and he, for perhaps the first time this season, will have the pick of almost every player to form his desired starting 11; the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire have all made their returns following lengthy injury setbacks.
