Three clubs circling United player whose future is uncertain after contract talks with board were ‘not positive’

Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future at Manchester United is currently uncertain amid interest from numerous clubs.

He was one of several Reds to have their one-year contract extensions triggered at the beginning of January, giving the club full control over his future and resale options. Meanwhile, his positional counterpart, Diogo Dalot, was awarded a fresh five-year deal in 2023, which may allude to Erik ten Hag’s preferred option at right-back.

Earlier today (Tuesday), it was reported that Al Nassr were readying a bid for the 26-year-old after failing in their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur’s Emerson Royal. They would hope to seal the signing before next week’s transfer deadline.

Daily Mail’s United Confidential column now claims that West Ham United and Crystal Palace have also established their interest in a deal for Wan-Bissaka, the latter of which would see him return to his former side, however, neither of the English clubs would be able to match Al Nassr’s prospective proposal.

Furthermore, the report reveals that the player’s agents held talks with United in recent weeks but the outcome ‘was not positive’.  Wan-Bissaka has made 13 starts in total this season and missed around nine matches with a hamstring injury from September to October.
