Man United are ready to pay €150million for 23-year old world class attacker

According to reports, Manchester United are willing to spend up to €150 million to sign Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior if PSG attacker Kylian Mbappe joins Real Madrid.

In the Spanish Super Cup final on January 14, Vinicius scored a hat-trick in 39 minutes against FC Barcelona, making him the center of attention once again. The 23-year-old has had a difficult season thus far, mostly due to injuries, but it may now serve as the catalyst to continue playing well for the rest of the year.

The Brazilian attacker could reportedly make way for Kylian Mbappe to join Real Madrid.

As Mbappe’s time at Paris Saint-Germain draws to a conclusion, there have been rumors that the France international would soon leave for the Bernabeu. The former Monaco star occupies the same position as Vinicius.

If Mbappe does join, it’s possible that Vinicius gets sacrificed, albeit that is unlikely to happen.

According to Defensa Central (via Sport), Man United are prepared to spend up to €150 million to get Vinicius Jr. from the Spanish giants.

Under Sir Jim Ratcliffe, United are ready to explore options in the market to strengthen the squad and make a number of signings. The INEOS chairman is ready to splash the cash to make United competitive again and aid the manager to bring back the old glory days.

Vinicus Jr. would be a statement signing for the club as he is one of the best attacking players in the world right now. However, even at Old Trafford, he would be competing with Marcus Rashford for the left side of the attack.

Vinicius is regarded by Madrid as a key player and their star of the future, and Florentino Perez, the president of the club, has declared time and time again that he will not sell the Brazilian for whatever price.

If United decides to make a big money offer, it will be intriguing to watch how Madrid responds.
