Manchester United duo could be set for exit this weekend

Manchester United appear to be getting business done early in January and there’s now suggestions that two more players could be on their way out of the club this weekend.

Jadon Sancho and Joe Hugill already left United on loan this week, with the former returning to Borussia Dortmund after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.

A speculative (at best) report from TEAMtalk suggests that Manchester United are set to confirm the loan exit of Hannibal Mejbri this weekend, while Facundo Pellistri could also leave.

La Liga side Sevilla are looking to turn their season around and appear to be leading the race to sign Hannibal.

The loan deal could contain an option-to-buy clause, which may not come as a surprise since the Tunisia international has not started a game under Ten Hag since November 1.

Meanwhile, Uruguay international Pellistri is attracting loan interest but could leave Old Trafford permanently.

Prior to this season we raised questions as to whether he’d ever get a run in the team, but Pellistri has played 14 times. It probably doesn’t bode well for him that his last start came back in September.

INEOS may be trying to get deals out to reshape our Financial Fair Play status. Only time will tell if it gives Ten Hag any room to make moves of his own in the January transfer window.

  1. Ten Hag is destroying United, he gives all the help he can to Antony and lambasts Sanches, one for assault the other for poor training. He is frittering away good Academy products and appeasing the Club with a couple of talented players from the youth system. He is not doing enough to encourage players who have come through the system and on the verge of first team selection. I wonder what will happen to Amad after his cameo, probably sold to buy another ten Hag favourite.

  2. TenHag will enter the history books as the worst united coach ever to destroy young talents and buy over the top pricey flops from the Dutch league especially and elsewhere, if ZZ or ALLEGRI was there Hannibal, pellistri and Altay would have been superstars but let’s hope spurs proof SAF. Wrong today because the great man backs that tenting hag 100%

  3. My score prediction for the Spurs clash= united 1 Spurs 4. Sadly Spurs must win today to force TenHag (Pennywise) out for good with Antony and onana hit on his heels
