Jean-Clair Todibo price tag outlined ahead of potential summer transfer

The price tag of OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo has been revealed.

Todibo would cost Manchester United £51.6m, according to CaughtOffside.

Erik ten Hag is expected to dip into the transfer market for a new defender this year and it remains to be seen if Raphael Varane will agree a renewed deal ahead of his current deal expiring this summer.

One name that has been linked as a potential replacement for Varane is France international Todibo, who has been a key player for OGC Nice, whom Sir Jim Ratcliffe owns.

This means there is potential for smooth negotiations between the two clubs, although it will come down to Todibo’s decision in the end because he will have no shortage of options if he leaves France in the summer.

An array of reports have linked Todibo with Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea so there could be a handful of Premier League clubs knocking on his door at the end of the season.

United are said to have a list of alternatives if a pursuit fails.

Let us know if you think United should move on Varane in the summer or give him a new deal.

  1. Considering that Sir Jim Is the actual owner of nice the football club, I’m sure he will be able to set the price. Not what you in the media seemed to think so

  2. I think Man Utd should buy Todibo now and let him stay at nice for the rest of the season that way we will have the defender and won’t have to worry about it in the summer we can concentrate on other players we want to buy
