“Yesirrrr” – Marcus Rashford responds to Jadon Sancho’s training post

Marcus Rashford sent Jadon Sancho a well wishes message on Instagram following his return to Borussia Dortmund on loan this week.

The 23-year-old left the Bundesliga side for Old Trafford after much speculation in 2021, joining in a mega-money £73 million deal after a well-documented pursuit of the England international.

Sancho failed to live up to the hype at United and has been banished from the first team since claiming he had been made a “scapegoat” after Erik ten hag said he didn’t reach the “level” required to be involved in their squad at Arsenal back in early September.

The winger has been left out of the matchday squad ever since, but returned to Dortmund training today following his temporary exit. At United, however, Sancho trained away from the first team group and with some of the academy players.

Sancho has uploaded a photo of himself returning to training for Dortmund and several footballing personalities have replied, including Man City’s Erling Haaland. Rashford also commented with a silly “yesirrrr” remark.

I know it’s his mate but Rashford must know how replying to that post is going to look given the circumstances.

Rashford’s demeanour has been questioned many times and he should be ashamed of encouraging Sancho’s lacklustre attitude and general lack of respect for the club.

  1. Rashford’s feet wouldn’t hit the ground. It’s obvious what this is a reference to. He might be gutless and not give a toss about United but he’s not a stupid man. Get him gone.
