Leeds United starlet added to Manchester United’s radar after impressing in Championship

Manchester United are reportedly planning a move for Leeds United starlet Archie Gray, although the claims come from a questionable Spanish source.

Gray has enjoyed an impressive first half of the season in the Championship and has already been tipped for a big move at just 17. It has been suggested that there is long-standing interest in the Premier League.

With Liverpool and Tottenham also said to be monitoring the English centre-forward, Fichajes believe the £40m-£50m valued star is now on United’s radar after the club came to the conclusion that they will not be signing Sofyan Amrabat at the end of the season.

It is suggested that Gray could be an option for the Reds instead of the Morocco international, who is currently away at the African Cup of Nations.

United are bound to be linked with every Tom, Dick and Harry in the coming months with Ineos expected to spend money on transfers in the summer.

It’s unlikely to be the case this month as we await Premier League ratification on Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s deal.

This may be one to watch because Gray is a midfielder with potential, but I wouldn’t put my house on it given the media outlet running the story is speculative at best.
