Facundo Pellistri could be one name out the door at Old Trafford this month, though it remains to be seen whether his exit would be on a loan or permanent basis.
As it stands, the opportunities are there for both. Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Monday that PSV Eindhoven have ignited their pursuit of the Uruguayan in hopes of acquiring his services for the remainder of the term, after which he would return to Manchester United. The transfer expert claims that ‘negotiations are ongoing’.
On the other hand, LA Galaxy are interested in taking Pellistri on board permanently, and will formally submit their proposal to the Reds in the coming days.

A loan could suit Pellistri
In truth, the winger, up until this season, hasn’t really been granted the time or opportunities to showcase his talents in the senior squad. Last term – the first of Erik ten Hag’s tenure – he featured for a total of 214 minutes and made only one start across all four competitions, which came in the Europa League.
While Pellistri has outdone said tally this campaign, with 366 minutes under his belt thus far, he’s still some distance away from a starting role. The return of Amad Diallo along with Alejandro Garnacho’s promising showings on both flanks could well see Pellistri’s game time slashed further from now until the summer.
