Premier League confirm match officials for Manchester United vs Aston Villa

Manchester United are looking to get back go winning ways in the Premier League.

After losing 2-0 against West Ham on Saturday afternoon, United suffered their 13th defeat of the season. The team has been unable to go on a winning run since the start of the season and that is the reason we’ve yet to really get started.

A quick glance at the Premier League table tells you everything you need to know about our topsy-turvy form this season. United are eight in the Premier League, out of Europe and the Carabao Cup.

On the other hand, Aston Villa are flying it under Unai Emery this term and they’re just one point behind Arsenal, who are currently on top.

Match officials

The referee for the Old Trafford clash will be Craig Pawson. It will be the first time this season that Pawson has refereed a United fixture, although he did officiate three during the previous campaign.

Pawson will be joined on the sidelines by Richard West and Steve Meredith, who will act as assistant referees. The fourth official job has been handed to Rob Jones, who will stand between Erik ten Hag and Unai Emery on Tuesday night.
