INEOS’ commitment to OGC Nice is not threatened by their recent purchase of a 25% share in Manchester United, nor does it suddenly make the Ligue 1 club a feeder for the Premier League side.
That is the stance coming from French outlet L’Equipe, so they don’t think anything is on the agenda to change over the foreseeable future.
They understand that the process to buy Manchester United has been a long one – over a year since the Glazers announced plans for a strategic review.

Publicly, the management of Nice has said very little on the subject, with manager Francesco Farioli focusing on his own job. That means discussions have been held behind the scenes – but nothing changes.
This means Nice aren’t worried by developments by Ineos’ plans after buying 25% stake in Manchester United. Instead they are seeking to become more autonomous after showing positive signs in Ligue 1 this season.
