Donny van de Beek has finally found the transfer his heart desires and will depart Manchester United on loan in the winter.

As per Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch international is set to join Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt after a verbal agreement was reached with the Red Devils.

Van de Beek, 26, will leave Old Trafford for the second half of the campaign before his temporary deal expires in June 2024. Then, Frankfurt have the option of signing the midfielder permanently for a fee of €15 million (including add-ons); the buy option is not mandatory.

Van de Beek could pull curtains on United career

After making just two cameos for United so far this term, totalling a mere 21 minutes worth of action, it’s clear to see why Van de Beek was so desperate to pursue a new venture elsewhere.

Should Van de Beek, who currently earns £120,000 per week, sign for the German club at the end of the campaign, he’ll leave United having made 62 appearances in total, scoring twice and assisting two goals across his three years in M16.
