Newcastle have opened the scoring against Manchester United at St James’ Park.
And we can’t say it wasn’t coming.
Anthony Gordon netted his sixth goal of the season after 55’ minutes as Newcastle took a deserved lead over Manchester United.
United haven’t been at the races today, with Newcastle enjoying an array of chances in the first half, making sure that Andre Onana was well worked.
There is not much Onana could have done about the goal, but a lot could be said about our players failing to track their runners tonight.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka was guilty of losing Gordon at the back post before he tapped the ball into the back of the net.
