Juventus keen on Manchester United duo likely to leave in January

Manchester United fans are keen to know what direction the club will take in the January transfer window.

Will it be another January transfer window of shortcuts, shopping in a pool of free agents and loanees, or will we see change under Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Juventus are ‘keen’ on signing United duo Donny van de Beek and Jadon Sancho.

Both players are likely to leave Old Trafford in January because of a lack of opportunities this season. Van de Beek never settled at United and the same could be said for Jadon Sancho before the winger threw his toys out of the pram in a public spat with manager Erik ten Hag.

As a result, Van de Beek wants to move for regular football and Sancho is left with no other choice after being banished from the first-team.

Speaking about his future, Van de Beek has gone on record saying (via The Mirror): “I am bouncing to play matches again. The manager is making different choices now. We have a big squad and I am not the only one knocking on the door. We’ll see in January what happens.

“I need to start playing games very soon – if not at Man United then at another club. I think I have to be ambitious.

“I have always been a lover of the game. I am absolutely crazy about football. I earn a good living at United, but money is not my motivation. I want to enjoy my work every day.”

The report claims Juventus want to sign both players in January, although the offer for Sancho is likely to be a loan.
