Manchester United keen on £60m-rated Wolves attacker who tops PL assist charts

Manchester United and Arsenal are being linked with a move to sign Wolves star Pedro Neto.

The Portuguese star won’t come cheap, with Wolves set to demand a huge fee for his signature in the new year.

Neto, 23, is regarded as one of the fastest players in the Premier League and it’s a minor suggestion that Erik ten Hag may be looking to add more pace to his attack.

According to TeamTalk, United and Arsenal are both keen on securing Neto’s signature – with Wolves demanding at least £60 million for the winger.

The Portugal international has been in form this season and is at the top of the Premier League’s assist charts (7) this season.

Neto is under contract at Wolves until 2027, so the Premier League outfit will be in no rush to get a deal done in the new year. They don’t need to sell him unless their valuation is met, although that won’t stop his agent Jorge Mendes from looking for the best deal.

While there has been suggestions that Neto is wanted in the Saudi Pro League, it’s understood that the player wishes to remain in Europe.

It remains to be seen if Neto will feature on Monday night when they travel to Fulham, after missing the last two matches with a hamstring injury.

Neto has 12 goals in 121 appearances for Wolves.
