Manchester United are believed to be scouting Napoli sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The Georgian winger is attracting interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, so it makes sense that United would begin to scout the 22-year-old.
According to 90Min, United had ‘representatives in attendance’ at Spain’s 3-1 win over Georgia last night to keep an eye on Kvaratskhelia.
Kvaratskhelia scored against Spain and his tally is why he is attracting so much attention after establishing himself in Italian football. He has scored 17 goals and registered 22 assists in 58 games for Napoli so far.
The problem for United is they were one of four Premier League clubs scouting Kvaratskehlia on Sunday night. The others include Chelsea, Man City and Newcastle.
This shows that the winger is under the microscope.
Kvaratskhelia is currently in talks over extending his contract at Napoli by another 12 months while also being rewarded with a pay rise. Hopefully they don’t price him out of a move down the line because he’s one of the brightest young attackers in the game.
His current deal at Napoli runs until 2027.
