Manchester United welcomed UFC’s interim heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall, to Old Trafford this week shortly after his impressive win over Sergei Pavlovich.
Aspinall, who secured the interim gold with a 69-second knockout, shared photos of himself visiting Old Trafford with the championship belt.
He took to Instagram to proudly delcare: “The new UFC Heavyweight Champion visits Old Trafford.”

As you can only imagine, fans turned the comment section into a cesspit of bad football jokes. Many highlighted United’s struggles on the pitch and how Aspinall could improve Erik ten Hag’s depleted defence.
Aspinall is wasting no time showing off his best after beating Pavlovich at UFC 295.
However, with Jon Jones set to defend his heavyweight title against Stripe Miocic, it is believed Aspinall’s performance has thrown his name into the mix for future bouts.
Aspinall has already made it clear that he wants to fight Jones for the belt.
