Manchester United have endured a miserable start to the season in several ways but injuries have not helped Erik ten Hag’s cause as the Dutchman has had to name makeshift lineups in almost every game in his second season.

First-team regulars have sustained injuries regularly and that has often resulted in players operating in positions they are comfortable.

The backline has been the biggest concern, with United’s problems even prompting them to sign a last-minute filler on transfer deadline day in Sergio Reguilon.

It looked like Andre Onana would be the latest player to fall victim to United’s bad luck this season but now, journalist and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the Cameroonian shot-stopper.

As per the reporter, as seen above, Onana sustained a shoulder injury with Cameroon but it is not believed to be serious and he will recover in time for feature in upcoming games for United.

United resume the club football season with a trip to Everton next weekend as Ten Hag looks to build on some promising form domestically.

The Reds could grab a fifth win from their last six games if they beat Everton but the Toffees will be fired up after learning of their controversial 10-point deduction by the Premier League.
