Ella Toone has netted a serious contender for the Goal of the Season with her sensational effort against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday.
Manchester United took on the East Sussex outfit at Broadfield Stadium in a bid to build on their stellar 5-0 thrashing vs Everton last week.
However, it was the Seagulls who broke the deadlock after 30 minutes through Elisabeth Terland, with the home side then able to carry their lead into the interval.
It took until the 78th minute for the Reds to respond – and some response it was; Toone received the ball on the edge of the area and was able to switch to her preferred right foot, before firing a superb strike straight into the top corner.

The match ultimately ended 2-2 after late drama saw Guro Bergsvand put Brighton ahead again until Rachel William clinched a crucial point with a 98th-minute equaliser.
