A compilation of Kobbie Mainoo playing against Salford City is going viral on social media.
The 18-year-old excited fans with his performances during pre-season, but he’s been ruled out with a knee injury since facing Real Madrid in the United States.
It’s been a three month setback for the youngster.
Mainoo registered his first 90 minutes since returning from injury when the U21s took on Salford City last night. On top of that, he provided two assists.

In turn, Mainoo is unlikely to feature against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup, but fans will be happy to hear he performed brilliantly in the middle of the pitch.
