Reports suggest Marcus Rashford went on a night out hours after Manchester United’s 3-0 defeat to Man City.
The Reds were outplayed by their rivals at Old Trafford on Sunday, and Rashford struggled to have any impact on the game yet again.
It has been a difficult start to the season for the England international, made worse against City, and now reports suggest he was quick to get over the derby day disappointment.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Rashford attended the popular Chinawhite nightclub in Manchester city centre hours after the defeat to celebrate his 26th birthday.
The report claims Rashford was at the nightclub until ‘some time past midnight’, although he arrived on time for Monday morning’s training session.
It seems like a nothing story to us, unless there’s more details to emerge from it.
However, I can assure you that none of us were in the mood to ‘party’ after the Manchester derby.
I walked back from the stadium in the pouring rain with disappointment written across my face.
United declined to comment.
Hopefully Rashford can get back to his best soon.
