Casemiro admits he enjoys playing alongside Newcastle ace

Casemiro is a fan of Newcastle United talisman Bruno Guimaraes.

The Brazilian has been sensational since signing for Eddie Howe and has recently put pen to paper on a new five-year deal to keep him at St. James’ Park until 2028.

However, there’s a £100m release clause, which is a bit excessive for any interested club.

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has spoken about playing with Guimarares, with both players named in the starting line-up for this morning’s 1-1 draw Venezuela.

Casemiro has praised his compatriot after proving himself in the Premier League.

“Recently, Bruno is a player who has been doing an exceptional job at Newcastle,” Casemiro said via OGOL (H/t Shields Gazette).

“With every workout and every game I’m more comfortable with him. He is a great player, who has been demonstrating this in the most difficult competition in the world.

“It’s not up to me to determine who I’m going to play with, but of course, when you play longer with a player, you have a greater adaptation.”

United fans will hope Casemiro avoids any injury or knocks during the internationals. He has struggled for form this season, but Ten Hag knows how important it will be to get him back to his best.

Bruno Guimaraes is a fine player but I don’t think he will be joining Casemiro at United anytime soon.
