Mason Greenwood has opened his account for Getafe in La Liga following a season-long loan move to the Spanish club, after it was announced that he would be parting ways with Manchester United.
Greenwood was the subject of a lengthy investigation into claims of domestic abuse but charges were eventually dropped against the winger.
He will, however, not feature for United again after it was agreed mutually by both parties that he should resume his career elsewhere and that’s when he joined Getafe.
Greenwood has quickly become a starter for the Spanish outfit and has already played a hand in some important goals. Now, he has opened his account, as seen below.

Greenwood has certainly been welcomed with open arms at Getafe and that is apparent when you take a gander at the club’s social media pages.
His goal was celebrated wildly across all of their social media platforms, as the reaction tweet to his late strike in the second half shows.
