Manchester United have returned to winning ways in quite spectacular fashion at Old Trafford as Scott McTominay came off the bench to rescue Erik ten Hag’s struggling men.
Brentford were the visitors this afternoon and the London side grabbed a 1-0 lead going into half-time and United looked to be heading for a third consecutive defeat at Old Trafford – that has not happened since 1979.
Ten Hag introduced McTominay with roughly five minutes of the game remaining and the Scotland international would become the hero on the day when he scored two quickfire goals in stoppage time, as seen below.

United will now head into the international break with a slightly better mood and hopefully, this is something they can build on after a disastrous start to the season.
