The torn down section of the Sir Matt Busby “honour and glory” banner was retrieved from the Galatasaray fan as he tried to leave Old Trafford with it.
Thankfully, after a quick repair job, Stretford End Flags can confirm the banner is back on the tier.
A giant kudos to club staff who assisted in the banner’s retrieval and repair.
We shall not be moved!

This sort of thing wouldn’t be happening if United had proper policing at games for European nights. Last year, fans behaved badly at Old Trafford too but that has seemingly been pushed under the carpet.
The good news is that the Sir Matt Busby banner has been restored in time for the Brentford game this weekend when United need to get back to winning ways!
