Casemiro has been named Manchester United’s Player of the Month for September.

The Brazil international topped the fans’ poll ahead of Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot.

Casemiro was a clear winner as he collected 70% of the vote, with skipper Fernandes on 21% and Dalot registering 9% in third place.

It wasn’t a good month for United on the pitch but Casemiro performed brilliantly in the 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Crystal Palace, scoring a goal and registering an assist. He also scored twice against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

However, Casemiro was sent off against Galatasaray at Old Trafford on Tuesday night and will miss the next game in Europe versus FC Copenhagen.

Congratulations to Casemiro but we’ll be demanding better performances in October.
