Manchester United’s topsy-turvey start to the season continued since our last episode.

Dale, Brian and Jonathan get together to share their thoughts after watching back-to-back games against Crystal Palace.

Jonathan Shrager is considered royalty in these parts as a discerning Red who helped launch Stretty News TV back during the Moyesy era, so it was fascinating to catch up with up a good friend I’ve got to know really well through our love for Manchester United.

Over the course of an hour, we all try to get our heads around the mess that exists at Old Trafford.

Do we have the same emotion behind winning the Carabao Cup this season?

Is Marcus Rashford really the problem like some sections of the fanbase suggest or does Ten Hag stand by our most prolific scorer last season?

  1. Ten Hag is tactically inept. Mount and Erickson cannot defend. Hannibal was energetic, getting back to cover and involved with some nice touches. He should have stayed on and Rashford should have been substituted earlier. The back line was just left exposed. We need to play with two defensive midfielders. Ten Hag is playing a hopeful game that experienced players will produce magic. It doesn’t happen. Ten Hag needs to up his game tactically.
