(Video) Sofyan Amrabat lauds Old Trafford’s unwavering support after making home debut

Sofyan Amrabat has now finally lived out his long-awaited dream of playing for Manchester United at the Theatre of Dreams.

The Moroccan made his full debut in the side’s Carabao Cup clash against Crystal Palace on Tuesday evening, with the Reds reigning victorious through their 3-0 scoreline by the full-time whistle.

Amrabat, 27, received plaudits following the game for his sensational performance; he was initially deployed at left-back in Sergio Reguilon’s absence but went on to cover every blade of grass across the pitch, demonstrating his versatility and superb passing abilities.

Post-match, he reflected on the unwavering support from the Old Trafford faithful – something he’ll definitely get used to over the course of the campaign.

Amrabat told MUTV: “It was from the first second to the last minute – for me 60 minutes – amazing. It’s Tuesday today and the stadium is full, I think it’s fantastic. The fans are here always, always behind us and giving the players a very big boost, and we wanted to give them something back. I think it was a very good win today.”
