Alejandro Garnacho’s love for Cristiano Ronaldo is still going strong to this day, even if the pair are no longer teammates.
The forward has had the experience of playing alongside both Ronaldo and Lionel Messi at club and international level – the stuff of dreams for young and aspiring footballers. Heck, even the ones that are playing currently.
It’s therefore no surprise that Garnacho is becoming one of the hottest prospects in Europe with the players that he’s modelled himself on, and he’s only just getting started.
He got off the mark for the 2023/2024 campaign this evening when he netted the opener in Manchester United’s Carabao Cup tie against Crystal Palace.
Wait for the celebration 😮💨

After seeing the ball fire into the back of the net, Garnacho took the opportunity to mimic two of Ronaldo’s iconic celebrations.
A superstar in the making at Old Trafford. How lucky are we?
