Manchester United’s early dominance has paid off as Alejandro Garnacho opens the scoring after 20 minutes of play.
The opening phase of the game has been all about United, who deserve their lead over Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.
Roy Hodgson will be annoyed with his defence because it looked like a few of his players didn’t track their runners, especially Alejandro Garnacho who was lurking inside the box after Facundo Pellistri played a short pass to Diogo Dalot.
Dalot sent his cross low into the box and the ball found Garnacho before hitting the back of the net.

Garnacho has been overlooked in recent weeks, so the goal should give him a boost in confidence.
Only time will tell if Hodgson’s players respond to going behind in the first-half.
