Marcus Rashford involved in car crash after win over Burnley

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was involved in a car crash as he travelled home from Saturday’s 1-0 win over Burnley.

Rashford, 25, was reportedly caught up in a collision as he left United’s Carrington training ground after the team coach returned from Turf Moor.

A photo shared on social media showed Rashford’s white Rolls Royce with a bad dent parked at the side of the road.

Rashford played against Burnley, but was unable to add to his account for the season. He will be hoping to do that against Crystal Palace next week.

According to The Sun, police arrived to the scene but no ambulance was called and no arrests were made. A source told the newspaper Rashford was shaken but not hurt.

Bruno Fernandes, who scored the only goal at Turf Moor, came across the scene and is believed to have stopped to help.

Thankfully it only sounds like a scare, but incidents like this can be serious.

We are relieved nobody was hurt.
