Four Manchester United players involved in dressing room bust-up after Brighton defeat

Handbags at Manchester United. We can’t have a crisis at Old Trafford without the tabloids reporting on a scuffle amongst the lads.

After the game on Saturday against Brighton, I know part of me wanting to think some of the players were just as annoyed. Now reports claim four Manchester United players were involved in a “furious dressing room bust-up”, as per The Sun.

These are usually nothing stories – true or not – because footballers fight all of the time. It happens and they get on with it.

Club captain Bruno Fernandes allegedly confronted Scott McTominay, who was brought into the starting line-up as Erik ten Hag overlooked the need for a right winger.

Meanwhile, it is believed Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof lost it with each other following a poor defensive display from the centre-back pairing.

Like I said above, this is a nothing story but I’ll take some joy in knowing the players are hurting too. They can make amends with a positive result in Bavaria on Wednesday night.

Or is that too much to ask for a side that has been depleted with injuries and investigations?

  1. Well it’s from that comic the Sun so it must be true or is it being fed to them by the ex Sun employee with a job at United now like the fire a Woodward’s house where the Sun reporters coincidentally turned up ?
