The two clubs Jadon Sancho could move to in January as player mulls over winter exit

Jadon Sancho could push to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window if the situation between himself and Erik ten Hag remains unresolved, as per Manchester Evening News.

The pair locked horns when the manager publicly aired the reasons behind omitting Sancho from the squad to face Arsenal, claiming that the winger’s performances in training had not been up to scratch.

Sancho then took it upon himself to rebuff his manager’s comments on social media, saying that they were lies. He also labelled himself a ‘scapegoat’ at the club.

Whilst the statement has since been deleted, matters are still up in the air. Sancho was reportedly asked to apologise to Ten Hag and declined, so is now training away from the first-team and will be out of action until the outcome of the disciplinary matter is decided.

Where Sancho could end up

If the 23-year-old stands firm in his refusal to say sorry, it could see him frozen out until the window opens in the new year. MEN’s report adds that his former club Borussia Dortmund is an option, as well as Premier League outfit Nottingham Forest, where he would reunite with his England U17 coach Steve Cooper.
