Bruno Fernandes recorded his first assist of the night against Luxembourg just 12 minutes into Portugal’s Euro 2024 qualifier.
The Manchester United midfielder has since gone on to record a further two assists, as Portugal lead 6-0.
Two of the assists were for centre-back Goncalo Inacio, but Fernandes’ third beautifully set up Diogo Jota for Portugal’s fifth.
With the clock approaching on 80 minutes, we would hope that Fernandes is substituted soon because there’s no point forcing him to play the full match and risk injury when he’s got such an important schedule coming up with United.
