Manchester United are still looking to offload outcast duo Eric Bailly and Donny van de Beek, despite most European transfer windows closing.
The two Reds were expected to leave this summer due to Erik ten Hag making it clear that they aren’t in his plans for the season ahead. Despite links with several clubs across the window, they remain United players.
As per ESPN, Bailly and Van de Beek could still leave due to Turkey and Saudi Arabia’s markets still being open for business, with United hoping to receive offers by their respective deadlines of September 15 and September 7.
Bailly and Van de Beek omitted from squad
Neither of the pair have been included in Ten Hag’s matchday squads for the first four matches of the campaign and even if they opt against leaving, it’s unlikely the defender or the midfielder will be granted much – if any – game time as the term progresses.
