Sofyan Amrabat on the way to Manchester

Sofyan Amrabat will fly to Manchester today after completing his medical in Pisa.

That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who provided another update on Sofyan Amrabat this morning.

Romano claims United are waiting on Amrabat’s arrival to carry out the usual media duties that come with a new signing.

The journalist adds that Amrabat spoke to Erik ten Hag on Friday after an agreement had been reached with Fiorentina.

On Friday, United confirmed a season-long loan for the Moroccan midfielder. Fiorentina will pocket £10m in loan fees and there’s an option to make the move permanent for €20m plus €5m add-ons.

At least that gives Amrabat an incentive to take his golden opportunity at United. Does he want to remain at Old Trafford next season or end up back at Fiorentina? I think we all know the answer to that question.

Let us know in the comments section what you are expecting from Amrabat this season.
