Manchester United are on the verge of signing Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon on loan.
According to The Athletic, Reguilon has completed his medical examinations and will join United on a straight season-long loan with no fee or option to buy.
United have managed to include a break clause in January, but they will also cover the player’s wages.
The update came late on Thursday night, so we can expect an announcement at some time tomorrow morning because Erik ten Hag will hope to have Reguilon registered in time for Sunday’s trip to Arsenal.
On Wednesday, however, it looked like United were targeting Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella but his appearance for Chelsea last night against AFC Wimbledon complicated the situation.
United are also trying to sign Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat ahead of the 11pm deadline on Friday.
If United managed to get two or three more deals over the line, will you be happy with the club’s business this summer? Let us know in the comments section.

Great news…….reguilon is a good player
Absolutely no! Out outgoing so have been horrible. I’ve even forgotten some of the players we still have that need to be sold. We could have raised money easily for more signings. Snails move faster!
