Manchester United are among a host of clubs interested in NK Kustosija’s Dino Klapija, as per Mail Sport.
The Red Devils join Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus, AC Milan and RB Leipzig in pursuit of the 16-year-old starlet.
Klapija has trained with Kustosija’s first team on numerous occasions but currently represents the side’s under-17s squad, as well as Croatia’s U17s – despite being born in the United States and earning one cap for the nation’s U16s.
European sides mulling over opening bid
It is believed that some of the clubs interested are ready to offer as much as £5 million to prise the youngster from Kustosija, with Leipzig currently deemed favourites in the race.
However, United and Chelsea are adamant about adding quality to their attacking options and have identified Klapija as an exciting option to add to their squad and push for a senior spot, though they are yet to table a bid for the teenager.
