Mason Greenwood’s future at Manchester United continues to be plagued by uncertainty as the club are yet to come to a final decision
Greenwood was removed by the club at the start of 2022 following accusations against the winger but all charges have been dropped since then and United now face the task of making the right decision.
Earlier this week, it was reported that United were planning to reintegrate Greenwood into the first-team squad but that stance was strongly contested by supporters publicly.
Now, reporter David Ornstein has provided an update on the situation, claiming United have still not come to a final decision over Greenwood’s future.
As seen above, Ornstein explains that no decision has been made on Greenwood’s future and that all scenarios are being planned for, including reintegrating him, selling him and releasing him.
The latter would be a controversial move, with Ornstein explaining that the club may have to work with lawyers to iron that out.
