Brandon Williams’ future at Manchester United in jeopardy

It is no secret that Manchester United are trying to sell more players.

A bid from West Ham worth £30 million was accepted for Harry Maguire last week, although that move has since fallen through and the centre-back could remain at Old Trafford for another season.

Another player with an uncertain future at Manchester United is full-back Brandon Williams.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Erik ten Hag has informed Williams that he is free to leave Old Trafford on a permanent basis.

Williams, 22, made just one appearance for United last season and he enters the final 12 months of his contract.

One club linked with a move for Williams is Leeds.

Daniel Farke became Leeds manager during the summer and he worked with Williams at Norwich City. The England U21 international made 29 appearances for the Canaries and this may be his best chance at get regular football this season, albeit in the Championship.
