Paris Saint-Germain have turned their attention to a previous Manchester United target after failing in their pursuit of Rasmus Hojlund.
The Ligue 1 club established their interest in Hojlund with a £42.8 million bid last week, days before United agreed a £72m package to bring the young forward to Old Trafford. Throughout the deal, he had made it clear he only wanted the 20-time English champions.
Fans are now awaiting the announcement of Hojlund’s arrival after he completed his medical tests and signed his five-year contract at Carrington on Wednesday.
PSG to sign Goncalo Ramos
Meanwhile, PSG are closing in on a £68m transfer for Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos, who was shortlisted by the Red Devils as an alternative option to Hojlund, as per Fabrizio Romano.

The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Europe and would’ve undoubtedly been a prolific addition to add to the United squad, however, Erik ten Hag’s sights were set on the Denmark international.
