Rasmus Hojlund has posted an exiting update that suggests his transfer to Manchester United will be confirmed soon.
Fans are waiting on the official news to be announced by the club after Hojlund completed his medical examinations at Carrington on Tuesday night.
It is understood that Hojlund returned to Carrington to carry out further club media duties.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Hojlund’s official announcement as a United player could be delayed by around three days due to his later-than-planned arrival.
The Denmark international was scheduled to meet with fans on Wednesday but those arrangements were cancelled.
The MEN believe an announcement could follow this weekend, potentially around United’s friendly against RC Lens at 12:45pm on Saturday.
Hojlund has reportedly agreed to sign a five-year deal at United.
On Wednesday afternoon, the 20-year-old striker posted a picture on his official Facebook account, seemingly showing his body wearing the new United shirt.
Alongside the photo, Hojlund wrote ‘soon’ with emojis of a red circle and an egg time.
