Jadon Sancho reunited with his former teammates when Manchester United took on Borussia Dortmund in Las Vegas on Monday.
It was the Englishman’s old club that came out on top though, as the Red Devils sustained a 3-2 defeat to the Bundesliga giants in their final pre-season tour fixture.
Sancho is yet to reach the levels he did in Germany but there have been glimpses of it since he made the switch from yellow to red.
Rumours even circulated this summer suggesting that the 23-year-old could return to the Signal Iduna Park in an attempt to reignite his prolific form with a loan move, however, such speculation has since been dismissed.
Still, it was pleasant to see Sancho greeted warmly by the Dortmund staff and players. He also had a chat with his former captain Marco Reus before the pair embraced.
