Dean Henderson to complete £20m move to Nottingham Forest after Andre Onana signs for United

Andre Onana’s impending arrival at Old Trafford all but confirms Dean Henderson’s exit from Manchester United.

It was confirmed late last night that the Red Devils had reached an agreement with Inter Milan over a €50 million deal for the Cameroonian goalkeeper, who will travel to England this week for his medical.

He will sign a five-year deal with the club and become David de Gea’s successor after he had filled the No.1 role for the past 12 years.

United were waiting on confirmation of Onana’s signature before sanctioning Henderson’s exit, with the Englishman being heavily linked with a move to Nottingham Forest.

Forest and United to complete Henderson deal

Steve Cooper was keen to make Henderson’s season-long loan spell permanent after his stellar performances for the Midlands club, though his campaign was cut short after he sustained a thigh injury on January 14.

It’s expected that Forest will pay £20m for the 26-year-old Carrington graduate, as confirmed by Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail.
