Everton linked with summer move for Manchester United attacker

Anthony Elanga could be on his way out of Manchester United this summer.

According to a nugget of information from FootMercato, Everton are interested in the Swedish forward and could be about to make a move for his signature.

I am sure that Elanga would have been frustrated by his lack of game time last season. He got more minuted than anyone could have imagined the previous season under Ralf Rangnick, but the team took a completely different shape (for the better) under Erik ten Hag.

Not only did Elanga play less football, but Marcus Rashford got back to his best on the left-flank for United.

Elanga should probably move on for the sake for his career. It will depend on how much Everton offer as well as United’s valuation for a player many would deem surplus to requirements.

Sean Dyche would be getting an attacking player with plenty of pace as well as a fully established Sweden international.

At United, however, I don’t see a way into the team for Elanga.
