Daniel Harris: De Gea needed to go, is Mount a good fit?

Respected journalist Daniel Harris has spoken about David de Gea’s exit as well as his verdict on Mason Mount’s transfer to Manchester United.

Harris doesn’t believe David de Gea compares with the likes of Peter Schmeichel or Edwin van der Sar, so it’s fair to say he thinks United can move on without the Spaniard.

He also questions the arrival of Mount.

Mount joined from Chelsea in a deal worth £55m plus £5m in add-ons. He explains that managers love him because he carries out instructions, but Harris argues that he would have went for a more physical midfielder than the England international.
