Mason Mount’s had quite the week getting used to his new surroundings.
The midfielder brought his family to Old Trafford on Tuesday as he finalised his move to Manchester United.
In new behind-the-scenes footage shared by the club’s TeamViewer diaries, Mount was sitting with his arm around his father, Tony, in the stadium’s changing rooms.
His dad was getting visibly emotional as he took in the scenes of where Mason would be spending the foreseeable future, playing for the 20-time champions of England.
He said: “Mason, this dressing room… home mate. Home. Who would have thought, aye? When I brought you up here as a little boy.”
The new Red replied: “I know. Special, innit?”
Masons dad Tony: 'Mason…this dressing room man….home mate, HOME. Who would have thought aye, when I bought you up here as little boy' 🥺🥺
Mason: 'I know, special init' [rubs his dads shoulder]
