Fabrizio Romano has provided a fresh update on Manchester United’s pursuit of Andre Onana.
The Red Devils saw their €50 million bid rejected by Inter Milan this week but both clubs believe a deal can be agreed, with a mooted €55m fee potentially enough to get the transfer over the line.
Inter are also preparing for Onana’s exit, having recently started negotiations with Bayern Munich’s Yann Sommer, whom they have eyed as a suitable replacement goalkeeper.
United finalising Onana deal
According to Romano, United are now closing in on signing the Cameroon international and are finalising their last bid to send to the Serie A side.
He added that the deal will be sealed by the end of next week, with personal terms already agreed between the club and the player.
