Manchester United have reportedly submitted a verbal proposal of €45 million for Andre Onana.

That’s according to a recent update from Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, who has confirmed that the Red Devils have finally made their approach for Erik ten Hag’s first-choice goalkeeper target.

However, Inter Milan have seemingly increased their asking price to €60m, meaning there is a lot of work to do in negotiations between the two clubs.

United have just parted with £55m in a deal that sees Mason Mount make the switch from Blue to Red, so it’s looking like it could be a pricey summer if Ten Hag wants to acquire all his targets.

Onana eyeing United move

Of course, the Serie A side may lower their price tag and meet United in the middle, especially if Onana himself is pushing for a move, as it would mean he reunites with his former Ajax coach.

David de Gea remains a free agent as it stands but is due to hold face-to-face talks with the board this week regarding his future at Old Trafford.
