Manchester United’s search for a new midfielder continues but Brighton have yet to receive any offers for highly-rated central midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to talkSPORT.

The Ecuador international is attracting plenty of interest this summer and has been a frequent character in gossip columns focusing on not just Manchester United but Arsenal and Chelsea.

Brighton are open to selling at the right price, but their reported valuation (if true) could be a push factor for interested clubs.

talkSPORT claims Brighton believe Caicedo to be just as valuable as the in-demand Declan Rice, with West Ham demanding a fee in excess of £100m for the England international.

While Arsenal and Man City bid for Rice, United wait in the background for an opportunity in the market.

It doesn’t look like Caicedo will be the answer since Brighton are set to demand crazy money for his signature.

Brighton are apparently looking to sign Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus, who has been on United’s radar for a while. Erik ten Hag knows him better than most and for that reason I wouldn’t rule out a move for the Ghana international.

Ajax have a new star in the 22-year-old after watching him score 18 goals and register seven assists from midfield last term. Kudus played as a number 10, a right winger and a centre forward throughout the season.
